Cherish Exchange foundation (CEF) is a non-denominational, non-sectarian and non political human development agency which is dedicated to work on projects that are geared towards the alleviation of human suffering by developing and empowering children and young adults, to acquire skills for physical, mental, social and spiritual growth in relation to knowledge of themselves and what they are capable of doing and achieving

C.E.F provides food, health care, education to 60 street children. We also offers vocational skills to less fortunate young adults and women, some of who are guardians, parents or elder siblings or children being educated at Cherish. The hope is that students, through education, may eventually have the means to support their future families and reduce the number of children going to the streets.

We support three categories of street children:

Children on the streets- are those who occupy and frequent during the day but return elsewhere at night.(This is the category Cherish Exchange Foundation works with)

Children of the street – these are children who have streets as their only home

Children for the streets- ‘enjoy’ freedom to use of ‘free’ space available in the streets and that of freeing themselves from unfriendly home environments
